What a wonderful story. I will definitely be looking for more by Kay Bratt. Really really enjoyed both the books.
Lovely reading and the story is a good representation of the orphanage practices.
I was deeply moved by the characters.
I just plain loved the first story and couldn't put it down. Very enjoyable reading.
This book started off good and then it dragged on and on and on. Finally towards the end it got good again. Some parts about China was pretty interesting.
This is my second book by Kay Bratt and I loved them both. This book was well written, it was educational regarding the Chinese culture, it kept me in suspense, excited and had trouble putting it down. I am looking forward to reading the next one. I highly recommend this book!
This was a most captivating read. I would highly recommend it to any reader from young to old! As with the other books I’ve read by Kay Bratt, I was sad to see the story end. I grew close to the characters!
This book was recommended by a friend. I'm so glad she did. I started reading and never stopped. Wish I had read it before I retired. I know my kids would have loved it. Family, traditions, history, morals, devotion, friendship, sacrifice - so many aspects to keep them interested and talking.
